Option 1: You will take an overnight bus (Putumayo) at 9:30pm
directly to the Cuyabeno Bridge, about 12 hours. At the bridge
you will meet your guide and pay your entrance fee into the Reserve.
You will then get into a motorized canoe and start your jungle
experience.
Option 2: You can fly from Quito at 10:30 am to Lago Agrio (30
mins) and take a private car three hours to the bridge. At the
bridge you will meet your guide and pay your entrance fee into
the Reserve. You will then get into a motorized canoe and start
your jungle experience.
We recommend taking the bus because you will arrive at the camp
around 1pm and have all afternoon within the reserve. If you fly
to Lago Agrio you arrive at the camp at 5 pm and spend your day
traveling.
When leaving the camp you again have the option to take an overnight
bus or fly from Lago Agrio to Quito. We can arrange whatever transportation
you choose to use.
