Cabañas
JAMU is located in the species rich Wildlife Reserve of Cuyabeno.
Cuyabeno has 603,000 hectares of protected forest including primary
forest, flooded forest and a unique system of lagoons. Being the
second largest protected Rainforest in Ecaudor, it is important
that as much as possible is done before it vanishes too quickly.
View some of the most amazing sunsets that will leave you speechless,
as you swim in the Laguna Grande.
Within
the Cuyabeno Reserve you have the chance to see an immense wildlife.
You might be lucky and catch a quick glance at a tapir as it plunges
into the water, or an armadillo as it scurries away from you.
But you don’t need luck to see a couple species of macaws,
or hear the infamous calls of the Howler monkeys. With over 650
species of birds, 450 of fish, 10 species of monkeys and 1000’s
of insects, you are sure to have an incredible time.
The
Ecuadorian coast.- We re-as Ecuadorians-very lucky to have 4 different
types of regions, the coast is just amazing , with its temperature
of 35º C or 80º F.
Climbing
mountains and volcanoes. - It’s called Avenue of the volcanoes,
with it different levels of complexity, at the some time it gives
us a marvelous view of the Cotopaxi.
The
Galapagos Islands are 1000 KM away from the continent; the beautifulness
of the location and because of the habitat was nominated by the
UNESCO as Natural Patrimony of the Humanity.
